Ronaldo form Champions League strange he will bounce back soon

Cristiano Ronaldo scored 16 goals in the last edition of the UEFA Champions League which Real Madrid won. He was some kind of an unstoppable force in the last season. Surprisingly, in this season of the Champions League, Ronaldo has managed to find the back of the net just two times in six games.

There has been a dip in form for the Portuguese superstar when it comes to Champions League. Things only get much more difficult from here onwards for all the teams who have entered the second round of the Champions League.

Zinedine Zidane has been a successful manager for Real Madrid. He would want to keep on adding to his success. With Gareth Bale sidelined for months, he will want Ronaldo to step up and get back to goal-scoring way in the Champions League.

Ronaldo is knocking at the door of a record which can be broken very very soon. He is now on 95 Champions League goals just two ahead of Lionel Messi. However, these records do not matter if you are not scoring for the winning cause of your side.

Ronaldo did get a chance to take that tally to 96 goals when he got a chance against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. But just like his form, it seems that the luck which he usually carries with himself, also withdrew his support temporarily. The only chance he got against Dortmund and he hit the woodwork. Heartbreaking for the player of his calibre, class and quality isn’t it?

Well no one doubts his prowess and capabilities on the field. We all know how dangerous he can be if he is on song. It just needs a couple of goals and good matches to refurbish the rhythm.
