It is high time we realise that the former India skipper Rahul Dravid is building a mine of players, who are going to do wonders for Indian cricket in future. It is almost like the legendary batsman is on a mission to bring out the best of players by mentoring and guiding them towards the right path.

As you are reading this, know that Dravid has added another feather to his cap. India U19 side has emerged victorious in the Asia Cup in Colombo on Friday and the world cannot stop praising the legend.

Dravid’s young brigade remained unbeaten in the entire tournament. In the final, India U19 outclassed Sri Lanka by 34 runs. Sri Lanka were bundled out for a score of 239.

It is indeed incredible to see how Dravid has been nurturing these talents and strengthening India’s bench. We have already seen Dravid’s effort when India almost clinched the ICC U19 World Cup in Bangladesh earlier this year. This is just another milestone for “The Wall” and one can be rest assured he is not done yet. Dravid is going to continue with his building process and this pool of talents is only going to help Indian cricket.

We saw how his India ‘A’ candidates shone for India in the recent Test series against England. Players like Jayant Yadav and Karun Nair have come out through the ranks and impressed. India always had young talents popping out every now and then. Dravid is just ensuring that they turn into world class in a matter of time.

More power to you Rahul Dravid!
