Punjab government to reward state hockey players with Rs 1 crore cash award: Sports Minister

As the nation hails the country's first Olympics hockey medal in 41 years, Minister of Sports & Youth Services in Punjab, Rana Gurmit S Sodhi on Thursday announced a cash award of Rs 1 crore each for players from state.
"On this historic day for #IndianHockey I am delighted to announce a cash award of Rs 1crore each to players 4m #Punjab.
