Milkha had contracted the COVID from his family cook, while the latter worked for him for the past 50 years. Following the same, even Milha's wife, Nirmal Kaur, had attracted the coronavirus. In contrast, after battling the disease for a few weeks, she had passed away at a private hospital in the same city last Sunday.
