Things are seemingly hot in Juventus right now. While star striker Cristiano Ronaldo's future hangs in the balance, the club could also be set for a managerial change, with Andre Pirlo likely to step down from the role.

Meanwhile, as for Pirlo's replacement, multiple reports have strongly suggested that ex-Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is all set for the return to the Old Lady. Allegri stepped down from the role in 2019 after six years of glorious success in Turin.

In the meantime, a report from Sky Sport Italia suggests that Allegri is likely to sign a four-year deal with the Bianconeri, worth €9 million annually. The value would naturally be more than what Allegri earned during his first stint with Juventus.

Allegri had a glorious success with the club between 2014-19, during which the Old Lady won five successive Serie A titles. Besides, the side also won four Coppa Italia titles and a Supercoppa Italiana while finishing as the runner-up in the UEFA Champions League on a couple of occasions under him.

Also, another report has suggested that club veteran Giorgio Chiellini is expected to extend his contract in Turin by a year. The 36-year-old defender is a favourite of Allegri as the latter wants him to stay.

However, it is unclear what would be Ronaldo's status under Allegri, as reports continue suggesting that he is on his way out. At the same time, he has seemingly begun the proceedings to move out already despite having a year left in his contract. Furthermore, with critics and experts calling for an overhaul for Juventus, especially under Allegri, it is highly uncertain of Ronaldo would be in the plans of the returning manager.
