City vs Spurs: Game that can alter the Premier League title race

On one hand, City will be trying to get back on track and on the other the second-placed Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to reduce the gap between them and 1st placed Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola have already conceded the Premier League title race this season. They were at the top of the table in September and now they are not even sure whether they can end the season in the top four. Last week they were embarrassed by Everton 4-0 and here they are ready to take on a red-hot Spurs.
Meanwhile, Tottenham has been riding high on confidence as they have won their last six matches in a row and are looking to extend their winning streak. Mauricio Pochettino’s side also defeated Chelsea earlier this month. The last time Spurs were on a seven-match winning streak was back in 1967.

However, it will not be easy against City at the Etihad Stadium. But Guardiola’s side is low on confidence as they have lost four out of their last 8 matches.
If Tottenham beats City on Saturday, then Manchester United will move up to the fifth position in the points (provided the Red Devils win their away game against Stoke) and City will move further down to the 6th place.

Chelsea will be under pressure as they will have to win their game against Hull City on Sunday in order to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
