The Junior Wrestling World Championships 2021 is being held in Ufa, Russia, where India's Bipasha has won the silver in the 70kg category. Meanwhile, Sanju Devi and Bhateri will fight for their respective golds.
In yet another good news for Indian wrestling, the juniors wrestlers have once again proved their worth. During the ongoing Junior Wrestling World Championships in Ufa, Russia, India's Bipasha bagged the silver medal in the 70kg category.
Meanwhile, Sanju Devi and Bhateri were scheduled to participate in the gold medal clash in their respective 62kg and 65kg categories. Furthermore, Simran and Sito won the bronze in the 50lg and 55 kg categories, respectively.
Moreover, Arju had the chance to win the bronze in the 68kg category but abandoned it due to an injury. In the meantime, Saneh would be competing for bronze in the 72kg category on Friday.
As for Bipasha, she lost her fight to Kylie Renee Welker of the United States of America on technical superiority. Meanwhile, Sanju bounced back 0-5 to beat Birgul Soltanova of Azerbaijan 8-5, while she faces Alina Kasabieva of Russia for the gold.
Bhateri had outlasted Jlassi Khadija of Tunisia, followed by Amina Roxana Capezan of Romania, as she takes on Moldova's Irina Ringaci for the gold. Besides, Simran outplayed Natallia Varakina of Belarus 7-3 for the bronze, while Sito toppled Melda Derenkci of Tukey via technical superiority for the same medal.
