Jose Mourinho turning the tides for Manchester United

Manchester United have been on a roll as they have registered their seventh win on the trot in all competitions as they defeated West ham United 2-0 at the new London Stadium on Monday. United are now five points off the second-placed Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Jose Mourinho‘s Red Devils have remained unbeaten in 13 games and this is something a United fan used to experience during the Sir Alex Fergsuon era. The Scottish manager still holds the record of 18 unbeaten games with United and Mourinho will have to make sure that his players are on top form so that he can break the previous record and most importantly, move further up the points table.

This is also Mourinho’s best run of form and the last time he managed to achieve a similar streak was back in 2014 when he was managing Chelsea. Mourinho have been making the right choices before every game. Also, his choices during the games have been commendable as well.

United have showcased some wonderful attacking football in their last seven games and thus they have been rewarded with as many consecutive victories.

Up next they will lock horns with Reading in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday and it will be followed by one of the most anticipated fixture of January – United vs Liverpool.
