Bengaluru: Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube was the top buy for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL auction 2019. The franchise let go of many players after their disappointing sixth place position in the IPL 2018 edition. However, they decided to retain a few core players ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 auction.

RCB had retained star players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal and others, and have brought Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal along with top buy Dube.

RCB traded Mandeep Singh for Marcus Stoinis from Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). RCB also sold South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock to the Mumbai Indians.
