The Indian national arrested over rape charges in Zimbabwe is not a national cricketer, sources have clarified.

"We have spoken to our Ambassador to Zimbabwe. The report is totally false. No Indian cricketer is involved," Ministry of External Affairs sources were quoted as saying to IANS news agency.
The person in question, however, is "an Indian affiliated with one of the sponsors has been arrested" and has agreed to a DNA test to prove his innocence, the source added.
Zimbabwe media on Friday had reported that an unnamed Indian cricketer was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Harare.
The Indian cricket team is currently Zimbabwe for a T20 and ODI series.
