On the other hand, centurions in the Rajkot Test, Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay rose two spots each to No.11 and No.23 while Virat Kohli's match-saving unbeaten 49 on the final day helped him gain a spot to No.14.

England's Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes who notched up a hundred each in the opening Test against India made the best move among the players outside top 10. While leapt eight places to No. 32 and Ali went climbed six spots to No. 26.

There was a lot of movement inside the top-10 with New Zealand's Kane Williamson dropping a place to No.3, while South Africans Hashim Amla and Ab de Villiers gained a spot each to be placed at No.5 and 6.

Meanwhile, in the bowlers' chart, India's Ravichandran Ashwin continued to hold the pole position. Sri Lankan veteran spinner, Rangana Herath after an excellent Test against a lower-ranked Zimbabwe rose to No. 2.

Ravindra Jadeja also retained his No.7 spot while England duo of James Anderson and Stuart Broad lost a spot each to find themselves at No.4 and No. 6.
