Since Dhoni is in Zimbabwe with Team India, he will not be present in person at the fundraiser. Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane too has donated his autographed Indian jersey for the event.

Other sportspersons who have come forward to help Bapi Majhi - a liver cancer patient and massive Mohun Bagan fan - are multiple doubles Grand Slam winner Leander Paes, former India captain Sourav Ganguly and Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan, who has given his autographed bat for the auction.

The entire amount collected will be handed over to Majhi's family. Part of the proceeds will also go to the wife of Alip Chakraborty, an East Bengal devotee who passed away recently.

The auction will take place in Kolkata on June 11.
