Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo has finally arrived in Manchester permanently after 12 years. Last week, he made his return to the club after leaving Juventus and signing a two-year contract with his childhood club.

Meanwhile, it was on Friday that he arrived in the city in his private jet. At the terminal, his old teammate Darren Fletcher greeted him, now the technical director at Old Trafford. At the same time, United confirmed in a statement that he would begin training with the side in Carrington from next week.

Following his arrival, he went to his new home, which happens to be a luxurious seven-bedroom mansion by the countryside hideaway. While Ronaldo previously stayed in a different villa in the city during his first spell between 2003-09, he sold it in 2018.

The Sun reports that his new mansion is equipped with all fitness facilities, along with a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Meanwhile, six security personnel are guarding the residence that the club has rented.

Currently, he would be undergoing a five-day mandatory quarantine at the compound before travelling to Carrington, where he would be his teammates on Wednesday. Also, his family is delighted to be moving back to the United Kingdom. At the same time, his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez already worked in the UK as a nanny before moving to Spain, where she met him.

Meanwhile, a source has confirmed that he has already spoken to his Portuguese club teammate Bruno Fernandes, giving a simple message to the squad that they need to go for the title this season. He is expected to play his first return game for United on September 11 at Old Trafford against Newcastle United.
