Shameena fought hard before going down 11-8, 11-6, 9-11, 9-11, 14-12 against Yin, but Tanvi levelled the tie by defeating Zhang Yuning 11-3, 11-5, 11-5. India will face Japan later on Monday, with Iran the other team in their pool.
