The luxurious six-hour trip will cost you $125,000 (Rs 92.77 lakh) each.
Setting a new benchmark in spaceflights, Space Perspective claims that it will escort its customers to space inside Spaceship Neptune's pressurized capsule propelled by a high-performance space balloon. The space balloon will not use rocket fuel.
Explorers will be able to the world anew from the vast windows of its ultra-comfortable capsule. The capsule will have non-glare windows to facilitate photography.
Space Perspective claims that Spaceship Neptune will accommodate up to eight guests in its capsule, complete with a bar and a bathroom.
The company is also offering personalized experiences like meeting Hall of Fame astronauts to taking nuptials in space, just to spice up things.
Terming the Spaceship Neptune as an extremely safe way to go to space, Space Perspective said in a statement that "it ensures safety by applying flight technology used for decades by NASA and global government entities, supported by a world-class, hand-picked crew integral to all human space balloon flights for the last 50 years."
