A telephone conversation between the accused woman in the bobbitising incident involving Swami Gangesananda Theerthapadar is out, and it reveals that she had committed the act.

In the audio clip, the 23-year-old law student can be heard saying that it was she who chopped swami's genitals. She also denies the accusation that the Swami tried to rape her and says that he never even tried to abuse her sexually.
However, the woman can also be heard saying that the act was not deliberate and she did not nurture any revenge against Gangesananda.
"It was Ayyappa Das who asked me to wave a knife at him, but did not assume the cut will be so severe," she said. The woman was speaking to the lawyer of the godman. Ayyappa Das is the helper of Gangesananda.
Earlier, the girl had complained to police that she cut off the genitals of Swami during a rape attempt.
The defence lawyer produced a letter written by the woman in which she had written that the allegations were made up by police.
