Advocate Sandeep Patil, who has represented State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa in several cases, was issued a life threat by a junior advocate recently. The incident came to light lately, reports Kannada Prabha.
Chandrashekhara Wali Shettar, an advocate, was arrested by the Vidhana Soudha police and handed over to judicial custody. Chandrashekhar was working for Sadeep Patil. During that time Chandrashekhar had given a loan of Rs two crore to Sandeep Patil. Sandeep Patil was not returning the loan and was causing trouble to Chandrashekhar, it is reported.
Chandrashekhar had gone to Sandeep Patil’s office and threatened him that if he does not return the money he would allegedly eliminate Sandeep. However, following a complaint, the police arrested Chandrashekhar.
