Former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda has challenged that he would win in rebels’ constituencies too. It is my aim to win at Chamarajpet, I am starting my fight from here, I have taken it as a challenge said Deve Gowda. Chamarajpet is rebel JDS legislator Zameer Ahmed’s constituency.
Speaking at the JD(S) workers convention held on Friday at Chamarajpet, he said, many had doubts if we can hold a convention here. They said people do not come out of their houses in this area. Some friends even advised that the public file case if political convention is held in this area. I dared to organise a convention here. This is not Pakistan to say not to hold public meets. It is not important how big a crowd is gathered but the convention is held to meet Party members, he said, reported Kannada Prabha.
The rebel legislators exploited Kumaraswamy to the fullest extent. Kumaraswamy often said that they stopped less of poisoning him, said Deve Gowda. Party spokesperson T V Saravana and leaders of JD(S) were present.
