Until Assembly polls Amit Shah to be Bengaluru resident

And for that BJP national president Amit Shah is planning to shift to Bengaluru to chalk out the strategy effectively for the 2018 Assembly elections.

Elections in Karnataka are crucial to BJP as the state is being seen as the gateway to BJP in South India. After its poor performance in the recently concluded Gundlupet and Nanjangud bypolls, BJP does not want to leave any stone unturned to ensure its victory.

An expansive villa near Kempegowda International airport is being considered for Amit Shah, reports Kannada Prabha. In all probability, the villa will be finalised as this fits Shah's requirement. It is learnt that Amit Shah had insisted that he would prefer a house that’s on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Besides, Amit Shah enjoys ‘Z’ Plus security and frequent visits to the city would mean inconveniencing the local police and general public.

The villa belongs to a prominent builder and talks are on to either have it on lease or purchase it, reports Kannada Prabha. The house will be in the name of Amit Shah for a period of one year – till the elections are over.

Following the instructions, BJP leaders have made couple of visits to check villa and are personally supervising its interiors and design, it is learnt.

Amit Shah is expected to visit the state in late August and BJP leaders here are working overtime to ready the house. The house is equipped with an exclusive room for video-conferencing and also other ultra-modern accessories.
