Thousands gather to welcome 80-year-old Sharanabasappa Appa’s son
- Dr Sharanabasappa Appa and his wife Dakshayini arrived from Mumbai along with their newly born son to a rousing welcome by thousands of devotees.
- As soon as Udyan Express arrived from Mumbai at Kalaburgi, the seer and his wife and child were welcomed with flower shower, arathi and kalasha by women.
- They were taken in a procession to the mutt with folk dancers, drummers, Bhajans performing, thousands of devotees participating.
- Devotees from various taluks had arrived in thousands and to facilitate everyone to see the child, 2 huge LED screens were set up in front of the mutt.

As soon as Udyan Express arrived from Mumbai at Kalaburgi, the seer and his wife and child were welcomed with flower shower, arathi and kalasha by hundreds of women. They were taken in a procession to the mutt with folk dancers, drummers, Bhajans performing.
The mutt was decorated with lakh lamps lit. Devotees from various taluks had arrived in thousands and to facilitate everyone to see the child, 2 huge LED screens were set up in front of the mutt.
It can be recalled that 80 year-old-seer Dr Sharana Basappa Appa has 8 daughters and wanted to have a male heir to the mutt, which has a property of Rs 100 crores and finally his wish is fulfilled.
