There were rumours that Karnataka's Energy Minister DK Shivakumar, who recently faced IT raids was given a hefty offer by the BJP, just days before the raid. When asked, this is what the minister had to say.

However, the rumours that BJP representatives had visited DK Shivakumar in his residence 20 days before the IT raid and asked him to join BJP. But sources said that DK Shivakumar refused their offer and said that he was a Congress loyalist.
But when asked the BJP leaders regarding this, they have told that no such thing happened. In fact, veteran leader Suresh Kumar has even said that after the raids, DK Shivakumar has thanked JD(S) and Yeddyurappa for his soft stance on IT raids) for extending their support so, we also thank the minister on our behalf.
