Surprise raid on DK Shivakumar takes a toll on Gujarat Cong MLAs 3 hospitalised

The sudden Income Tax shock to Energy minister DK Shivakumar seems to have deeply impacted the Gujarat Congress legislators. At least three legislators have been admitted to BGS Hospital near Kengeri after they complained of fever and low blood pressure. They are being treated as outpatients at the hospital, reports Suvarna News.

The 44 legislators have been having a harrowing time since they have arrived in Bengaluru to avoid poaching by BJP ahead of Rajya Sabha elections. Television reports said that the legislators are severely distressed after the Income Tax officials came to raid Energy minister DK Shivakumar at the luxurious Eagleton resort. For, it was minister Shivakumar who took the responsibility of their stay at the resort. Not just that the IT officials reportedly searched a few Gujarati legislators at the resort on Wednesday.

After the IT made a shocking raid on DK Shivakumar which is being termed as a political game by the Congress camp, the legislators from Gujarat fear they could be the next target of the IT officials. This thought has left many distressed and are in a dilemma to stay here or go back to their native. Television reports also said that the legislators did not attend the orientation programmes that was organised for them at the resort.
