SIT gets new clue on Gauri Lankesh murder case?

SIT gets new clue on Gauri Lankesh murder case

The reports in one of the Kannada news channels have stated that the SIT, which is probing the death of journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh has found a lead on the vehicle which the accused used to travel and escape from the victim's house after killing her.

Gauri Lankesh was shot at in front of her Rajarajeshwari Nagar house on September 5 at around 8 PM.

The latest report has said that the vehicle used by the accused was brought from a small shop in Pune. The bike was brought from a second-hand vehicles shop, the reports said.'

A 150 CC Pulsar red and black bike was used by the accused. The reports also say that the bike was brought from Pune and was shipped through Shivamogga. The SIT has intensified its investigations in this regard.

Recently, the SIT had released the sketches of three suspects and a video of the two accused and the bike they travelled, seeking help from the public to identify the accused. It was said that they had resided in Bengaluru at least for three weeks before Gauri Lankesh's murder.
