Question paper set after the examination starts at Gulbarga University exam goof up

The Gulbarga University that was in news recently for leak of B Ed question paper is yet again making noise for the wrong reason.

The university was conducting MA History second semester examinations and after the commencement of exams, it was found that the Section C of the ‘Ancient History of India’ paper contained questions for 20 marks that were out of the syllabus. Also it contained questions on Research Methodology that were exact repeat of the first semester. The alarmed students pointed out the mistake.

Soon after realising the mistake, quick efforts were on, to set fresh questions for the Section C.  The fresh question paper was sent by e- mail to all examination centres. Several colleges did not receive the fresh question paper at all.  Some colleges could not print it as there was power shut down.

There was huge confusion among students with regard to Section C. Some just left it. Some tried to remember the old lessons and attempted to answer and only those who could get the fresh paper in time could answer it.

The fresh question paper was received by 12.31 just 29 minutes before the close of the examination. Several students complained that their performance would be seriously affected due to this mix up by the authorities.
