A one-page question paper of Accountancy was doing the rounds on WhatsApp on the day of the exam. Even the questions matched the leaked question paper. But DPUE Shikha had said that the photo of the question paper being circulated was a work of miscreants.
In the latest development, Primary Higher Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait has said that the photo of question paper was taken Boys Government PU College for Boys, Manvi. It was found that Kalinga and Kalmatha college principal Mahesh, Director Sharana Basappa are involved in the case.
In this pretext, to prevent any more untoward incidents, DPUE Shikha has directed the lecturers not to take the mobile phones inside the exam hall. Only the chief superintendent of examinations is allowed to use the phone. If anything goes wrong, the chief superintendent will be responsible, she said.

The minister also said that the license to both Kalinga and Kalmatha colleges had been cancelled and FIR registered against the both, said the Minister.
Giving more details, he said that Siddanagowda, the part-time lecturer is responsible for taking the picture of the question paper and circulating it on WhatsApp. The photo was taken at Manvi Boys Government PU College. He has clicked the photo in the disguise of an officer from the Education Department.

Lecturer Vijay Rao who helped Siddanagoda has been suspended. The action is taken based on the report by the Raichur DC.
