Despite vigilance the illegal sexual services being offered in the city is still rampant and now there is a technological update to the business – customers can now use Paytm for their payments. Apart from the usage of credit card and debit card which had been reported earlier, now the pimps and sex addas offer services on Paytm transfers.

The interesting thing is that the union government had made an effort to call for a cashless society and encouraged the use of digital mode of payment to check corruption and curb illegal activities. But seems like this industry has taken the PM’s words to heart  and is using Paytm as well.

Although such agencies and massage parlours are flourishing and employ new methods to run the flesh trade business in broad daylight, the Bengaluru police have not been able to crack such cases. When Newsable called one such agency a lady who identified herself as Sonali answered the call and with no hesitation revealed the details of the services offered and their charges.

"We are one of the finest full service providers in Bengaluru. For one hour we charge Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 and full night service will cost Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000 And we have most beautiful and glamorous models, college girls, housewives, aunties and we can arrange accommodation as well (sic)," explained the lady advertising the business.

She further said the place is safe and that the police will not raid them. For the convenience of the customers, the company has made the payment option digital as well and apart from credit  and debit card, Paytm is also accepted. Even SMSs are being sent in this regard.

Such kind of services are thriving in Bengaluru East, in places like Kammanahalli, Banaswadi and surroundings and police have not been able to raid such places.

In another case, a woman named Seema from Eijipura said she was in this business of sex trade from some time and has been doing it  without any fear from police raids. "I will first accept Rs 500 through Paytm and then come live on WhatsApp.We can see each other and then decide where to meet for the appointment," she said.

Despite several attempts to get a comment from the Central Crime Branch's women and narcotics wing, which is known to conduct raids in such places, there was no reply.
