After the Indigo staff punched a male passenger, the Air Asia staff manhandled a woman passenger for complaining that the toilet on flight was dirty. The staff rudely said “we know it, you just go sit, don’t have to talk about it”.  When the woman passenger objected to such rude behaviour, the staff told her that its “our flight, you don’t talk too much,” reports Kannada Prabha.

The woman lodged a complaint with Sadashivanagar police station as sexual harassment and the case has been transferred to Kempegwoda International Airport station. The complaint has been lodged against Kaizad Suntok, Jathin Ravindra and Sannith Karandikar staff of Air Asia 1585.

The woman passenger hailing from Ranchi is an employee of a bank in the City. She had gone to visit her family in Jharkhand and was returning to City on Nov 3 by Air Asia.  When the flight stopped over at Hyderabad, the woman had used the toilet on board and complained that the toilet was very dirty and it needs to be cleaned. For that, the staff retorted that “We know it, you don’t have to tell us, go sit in your seat.” Objecting to such a tone, the woman said "Why are you shouting at me? To keep the toilet clean is your duty.”  Then the staff went on to verbally abuse the woman in singular and said “This is our flight. You don’t talk too much.”

When the flight arrived at Hyderabad, the staff physically pulled her back from getting down and started a fight about switching off the phone. One staff took a photo of the woman and demanded that she apologise, the complaint states.

An officer informed that a case of sexual harassment has been booked under IPC Section 354 and investigations are on. The accused will be arrested said DCP Girish to Kannada Prabha.
