Karnataka: No petrol purchase today
- AIPDA companies are not purchasing petrol today July 5 as first phase of strike.
- AIPDA will strike nationwide on July 12 protesting against daily dynamic pricing.
- Bunks will sell the petrol and diesel stocks till cleared.
- Situation may turn critical after July 12 bandh.
The All India Petrol Dealers’ Association (AIPDA) has announced nationwide protest in two phases. Today on July 5 the AIPDA companies are not purchasing petrol and diesel from oil companies as the first phase of the strike. AIPDA has called a nationwide bandh on July 12. Until then the bunks will sell petrol and diesel in its stock.
The bunks will work till stocks are cleared, announced Manjappa, AIPDA State president.
