Abdul Wahid (40), a lorry driver, belongs to a group called Ahle Hadis. There is another group called Mehdis. Both the groups have rivalry for the past two years. One year ago, both the groups had clashed and there was violence on both sides.

The Mehdis group was waiting for an opportunity to take revenge and when they saw Abdul Wahid standing at Madina Chouk on some work, a group of 6 members attacked him and stabbed him with a knife and escaped. Wahid did not lose his composure and walked into the hospital asking for treatment.
