Sandalwood star Yogesh gets engaged to his childhood sweetheart Sahitya Urs
- Yogesh and Sahitya Urs have been known each other for 14 years

FollowSandalwood actor Yogesh is the latest to join the bandwagon of to-be-married actors. Yogesh got engaged to his childhood sweetheart Sahitya Urs at a close-knit family ceremony, on Sunday. Yogesh and Sahitya have known each other for the past 14 years. It is said that they studied together in Yediyur and were in the same school. However, their friendship turned to love only two years ago and it was Yogesh who popped up the question. They both love pets and this brought them closer, it is said.
Yogesh had stated that Sahitya didn't get wide-eyed about tinsel town stars. "She is simple and grounded and has a firm head on her shoulders. Her qualities have rubbed off on me too," he had told The Times of India. Sahitya worked for an IT company, before she got engaged to Yogesh. Their wedding date has not been fixed, yet.
Yogesh shot to fame after his acting in the critically acclaimed 'Duniya' movie and he is fondly called "Loose Mada", a character in that movie. Since then, Yogesh has managed to carve a niche for him with performance oriented roles in 'Sidlingu' with Ramya and 'Hudugaru' along with Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, Srinagara Kitty and Radhika Pandit. His latest movie was 'John Johny Janardhan.'
Last week, it was Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna of 'Kirik Party' who also announced their relationship and are expected to get engaged in July.
