Karnatakas shame Protesters pour human waste on themselves in front of Vidhana Soudha

Nothing could be more ironic than this. Vidhana Soudha which stands for 'Jana Seve Janardhana Seve' (Service to people is service to God) witnessed a rather shameful incident. Members of Badavara Hitarakshana Samiti poured human excreta on themselves to register their protest against land encroachment in front of Vidhana Soudha to draw the government's attention, reports Suvarna News.

The Samiti members were protesting against the rampant government land encroachment in Bengaluru East taluk by a prestigious developer. They alleged that the tahsidlar was in hand-in-glove with the builder in encroaching the government land. Despite bringing it to the notice of the public representatives and officials concerned, nothing happened. "While the private developer is expanding the business by encroaching government land, the poor and the needy in Bengaluru East taluk are still struggling to get an inch of land," alleged Annaiah while speaking to Suvarna News.

The protesters alleged that they are being harassed by the builder for complaining against it. Their repeated pleas to protest to the government was met with denial. So, they were forced to protest in this way in front of the Vidhana Soudha hoping to hear from the chief minister. The Soudha police have taken the protesters into custody.
