Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy promises complete loan waiver to farmers by December 31

Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamyt has promised to completely waive off  farmer loans by December 31. He made this promise during the hearing of public grievances in Mandya, Karnataka.

Kumaraswamy is said to have skipped lunch to hear out the woes of people of Mandya. Speaking to farmers, who asked for acknowledgement certificate on loan waiver, Kumaraswamy said that the complete loan waiver will be implemented by December 31 and the acknowledgement will also be given by then.

He asked the officers to provide a master plan worth Rs 100 crore for overall development of Mandya district.

Meanwhile, reacting to the death of farmer Nandish, he gave the cheque of Rs 2 lakh to his family and said that if he had been patient, the problem of his loan could have been solved.

Also, watching a young Shabab Taj, a school going girl selling flowers, Kumaraswamy promised to take care of her education expenses.

In the meet, PWD Minister and Kumaraswamy's elder brother HD Revanna was seen taking the front seat as he took officers to task and warned of action against the officers who did not make it to the meeting.

At the end of the event, women supporters of the JD(S) were seen thronging the place requesting for a selfie with the chief minister.
