Energy minister DK Shivakumar's father-in-law Thimmaiah has also come under the IT scanner. The IT sleuths conducted a surprise raid on Thimmaiah's residence at Ittigegud in Mysuru, early morning on Wednesday.

It is reported that the IT officials have taken Thimmaiah to an undisclosed location for questioning. It is reported that suitcases full of documents that have been seized from Thimmaiah's residence have been taken along with them. The IT officials are expected to grill Thimmaiah for the rest of the day. DK Shivakumar is married to Thimmiah's daughter Usha.
