For the second consecutive day, the Income Tax officials have continued their search at minister DK Shivakumar and his associates' properties. On Thursday, television reports said that the minister allegedly did not co-operate to open the three secret lockers (out of five) found at his Sadashivangar residence. Despite the grill, the minister reportedly stuck to his stand. Apparently irritated at this, the officials later summoned duplicate key makers to the minister's residence to unlock the secret lockers. However, it is not yet known the details of the lockers.

The IT officials have been camping at the minister's residence since last night and are still gathering details of documents of various benami properties.
The sleuths continued their search at astrologer Dwarakanath who is reportedly close to the minister for the second day too. Besides, the search is still on at the minister's father-in-law's residence. The officials reportedly took minister's brother-in-law Satyanarayan and his wife to a secret location for inquiry in Mysuru. It may be recalled here that the IT sleuths had also taken the minister's father-in-law Thimmaiah to undisclosed location for inquiry on Wednesday. The IT officials came in two batches on Thursday morning and continued their search on at Thimmaiah's Ittigegud residence. '
There were reports that the officials also raided National Hill View Public school at Rajarajeshwari Nagar owned by the minister. The officials reportedly found demonetised notes at the school. Last night, the IT officials had also grilled the minister's mother, sister-in-law and her driver too. There were reports that the sleuths had also raided an apartment complex in Mumbai, reportedly belonging to the minister.
