IT raid on DNA, Innovative Film City in Karnataka; Bigg Boss under threat?
- T Venkatavardhan owned DNA Entertainment and industrialist Saravana Prasad owned Innovative Film City and Innovative Multiplex near Marattahalli have been raided for tax fraud.
- DNA Entertainment organises Pro-Kabaddi and IPL Cricket tourney, among other events and the Innovative Film City is where the popular reality show Bigg Boss is shot.
- T Venkatvardhan of DNA hails from Kolar and is also the chairman of the Golden Valley Education Institute in KGF.
- DNA is also very influential and manages to grab major advertisements from the government.

T Venkatavardhan,former chief minister Kengal Hanumanthaiah’s grandson owned DNA Entertainment and industrialist Saravana Prasad owned Innovative Film City near Bidadi and Innovative Multiplex near Marattahalli have been raided for tax fraud.
DNA Entertainment organises Pro-Kabaddi and IPL Cricket tourney, among other events. They even organised the VIdhana Soudha diamond jubilee celebrations. The Innovative Film City is where the popular reality show Bigg Boss is shot.
On Thursday morning IT officials raided both the companies simultaneously at Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolar and other places and collected documents till late night. T Venkatvardhan of DNA hails from Kolar and is also the chairman of the Golden Valley Education Institute in KGF. He established DNA in the 90s, soon becoming a top notch event management company catering to government and private events.
DNA is also very influential and manages to grab major advertisements from the government. The company has its head office on Bellary Road with branches at Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkotta and other major cities. IT raid has been held simultaneously at all its offices.
Innovative Film City at Bidadi and Innovative Multiplex at Marath Halli are also been raided by the IT teams. Their owner Saravana Prasad is said to be a tax defaulter.
Meanwhile at Gajendragada, Gadag,  IT officers raided the residence, hospital and offices of industrialist Surendra Sa Miskin and Dr R S Jeere. Arriving early morning at Miskin’s house the teams inspected the documents till late at night ad it will continue tomorrow also, sources say.
