This teacher had passed the Karnataka Public Service Commission examination, but his happiness did not stay for long as he had to become a thief to fit into the system.

Yea, a teacher from Koppal, is today in jail on charges of stealing Rs 1,29,000 worth sheep, just to get the job he had passed with hard work. But the system is such that only when the officers are bribed the hard work pays fruit,

This teacher had worked hard, studied after the classes and passed the KPSC examinations. But when he went for the interview, he was asked to pay a bribe. As he was poor, he did not have the amount of money they had asked for.

After much contemplation, he hatched a plan, and he stole 19 sheep on August 6, from the Seethammanakallu hatti with the help of three friends. These 19 sheep are worth Rs 1,29,000. A complaint in this regard was booked by owner Kiran Kumar.

The police after questioning had arrested Gopal, Arjuna and Yamanur, who had helped teacher Venkatesh Prasad in stealing the sheep, all four were handed over to judicial custody on August 12.
