Here is how this Udupi man was cheated by Pathanjali

Are you a fan of Baba Ram Dev's Pathanjali brand? Here is a report where a company under the name 'Pathanjali' cheated a man to the tune of 3.27 lakh.

Pawan Jayakara Kotiyan of Tenkanidiyur in Udupi has filed a case in the Malpe Police Statioin against an online company named Pathanjali alleging that it has cheated him to the tune of lakhs of rupees.

Pawan from Udupi on June 20, 2017 had applied to be a distributor of Pathanjali products on Pathanjaliayurvedic.com.

His application was accepted on July 21 and he recieved a e-mail in this regard. The online company even made a call to Pawan and asked him to deposit Rs 15,500 to get registered, Rs 75,000 and Rs 1.80 lakh towards shipping Pathanjali Products.

Following the call, Pawan deposited Rs 75,000 to the Pathanjali account on July 6, through Punjab National Bank. The company had even sent the documentation of the payment through e-mail, reported One India.

Pawan had even deposited money from his mother's account. But instead of getting the products all he got was calls demanding more money from the company.

After a while, Pawan grew suspecious and he made a call to the executuive of the Pathanjali Ayurvedic Limited. The answer literally shocked him. According to the executive, someone had created a website which was lookalike of the original website. They had opened a website which looked the same as Pathanjali's original website with a different address but had forged the seal and signature of the real CEO. They had even created a fake register form, email and online NEFT to cheat people including Pawan Jayakar.

Pawan has filed a case in this regard in Malpe Police Station.  

With the  numbers of followers for pathanjali products increasing, and people coming forward to take frachisies of the company, this case is a matter of concern.
