40 Gujarat Congress MLAs in Karnataka resort ?

FollowAccording to the latest news, allegedly 40 politicians from Gujarat Congress are reaching Karnataka resorts.
The step is being taken to stop horse trading of the Gujarat MLAs of Congress. The Suvarna sources have said that Energy Minister DK Shivakumar has taken the lead to manage these MLAs from Gujarat. They will be lodged at a resort in the outskirts of Bengaluru.
The MLAs will be arriving in a special aeroplane. This resort politics is to make sure that Ahmed Patel wins the Rajya Sabha election. The MLAs are being brought to Bengaluru resort to stop more MLAs from joining the opposition BJP. They are expected to stay in the resort till August 7.
The resignation of six MLAs of Congress from Gujarat has worried the party in the national level. One of the Congress MLAs (Rajput) who had resigned has even filed his nomination against Ahmed Patel.
The High Command might have chosen Karnataka as it does not want the MLAs to come in touch with any BJP leaders.
Congress needs at least 47 votes to win thee Rajya Sabha elections. Currently with the resignation of six MLAs now the number of Congress is 51. Thus the party is not in a position to lose any MLA. Thus this is the last measure Congress is taking to keep the MLAs in the party.
During the voting for Presidential Candidate, eight members of Congress had involved in cross voting. Thus the party is taking all measures to secure the votes and make sure that Ahmed Patel wins the election.
Ahmed Patel is a close aide of Sonia Gandhi, and his defeat will prove costly to the Congress Party.
