This time, a pregnant woman in Haveri had to bear the brunt of Gujarat Chief Minister’s convoy.

All vehicles were stopped including the Ambulance which was carrying a pregnant woman top the hospital, to make way for Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
The ambulance along with other vehicles was stopped for nearly half an hour on the Haveri main road.
The Gujarat CM was in Haveri to take part in the Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas programme. Meanwhile, the woman was being taken to the Haveri District Hospital from Karjagi.
Earlier, on two occasions, it was reported that ambulance was stopped for Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s convoy to pass. Whatever the situation is after thorough checking at least the ambulance should be allowed to pass.
The rules should be followed practically. What is the meaning of Gujarat CM Rupani promising people under Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas programme, when a pregnant woman had to wait for half an hour to reach the hospital, because of the CM’s convoy?
