An eight standard girl committed suicide after writing on her palm that her teacher was the reason for her death in Mandya.
Bhavani, studying in the eight standard in the Sarenegilukoppa School at Nagamangala in Mandya was found hanging, dead in her house. She had written on her left forehand that only her teacher Yashodhamma was responsible for her death and no one else was responsible.
13-year-old Bhavani committed suicide when no one was at home. The incident came to the light when her mother came home.
Yashodha teacher was a good teacher. But she was scolding the students sometimes. My daughter Bhavani also grow up and wanted to become a teacher, said the victim’s mother, Nagamma. “We don’t know why she took this decision,” she told the Public TV.
However, one of Bhavani’s friends had told that the teacher was calling Bhavani a thief and a liar. This might be the reason behind her death, she said,
