Love gone wrong: Girl allegedly commits suicide over boy's multiple affairs

The life of a 21-year-old student in Hubballi, Karnataka turned upside down when he discovered that he has been charged with abetting the suicide of a fellow female student. The girl reportedly committed suicide and left a note stating that she was in love with the boy who supposedly fell in love with two other girls. 

The accused is a native of Hospet in Ballary and the mother of the deceased filed a complaint against him in Gokul Road police station. In her complaint, the mother stated that both the deceased and the accused were studying in the same college and both were friends. Furthermore, she alleged that the love interests of the accused pushed her daughter to commit suicide. 

Following this, the police registered a criminal case against him. The High Court has granted an anticipatory bail to him on the ground that the deceased was ‘over sensitive in the matter’, reported Bangalore Mirror. 

The court noted that as of now there is no evidence that the accused harassed or ill-treated her or abetted her in committing suicide. Therefore, he has been granted bail.
