BBMP has launched an app Fix My Street to facilitate public to report potholes. The app will be activated from Oct 25. The deadline given by the Chief Minister to fix potholes is October 22.

The app will attend to complaints persisting after October 22.  Public can lodge their complaints through this app. The Mayor Sampath Raj will go through these complaints and delegate respective officials to take action. He will also fix a deadline to complete the task, reported Kannada Prabha.

The information about the action taken, which officer is responsible and his phone number will be despatched to the complainant.  The app will also update the action taken. This is a new scheme introduced by the new Mayor.  He has taken personal interest in this, said BBMP officials.

Known for not keeping its promises, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has a herculean task of filling over 17,000 potholes in just ten days. The task has also pushed newly appointed Mayor Sampath Raj to burn the midnight oil in inspecting and executing the task of filling up potholes.
