People have seldom seen him accompanied by his wife or any family member. His emotional side was revealed when he lost his son Rakesh, recently. Now his son Yatheendra is in the news as the CM is planning to bring him to politics post the death of Rakesh.

CM Siddaramaiah is known for his witty comments and revolutionary steps like the anti-superstition bill, visiting the places including temples which are termed as jinxed.

1) Siddaramaiah can cook rice and upma

In an interview with RJ Shruthi of 92.7 BIG FM, Siddaramaiah has revealed a secret that he can also cook and that he not only loves Upma but also can prepare it.

2) Teachers called him S3

No, it is not a Suriya film. Siddaramaiah was called S cube by his teacher. As the interview has not been aired yet, the reason why he was called so has not been revealed. There must be a funny reason behind calling him so.

3) To be or not to be a doctor

Siddaramaiah has studied law and was a practising lawyer before plunging into politics. But the fact is the that his father wanted him to become a doctor. But despite his interest in Mathematics and Science he chose to be a lawyer.

4) Alarm... no way

Siddaramaiah never sets the alarm to wake up for any occasion. No, neither he depends on his wife to wake him up. He says it's his biological alarm that wakes him up.

5) Food For All is the mantra
