The Asianet Newsable investigations revealed that the pimps who are active in Bengaluru also have stakes in the Mysuru flesh trade under pseudo names.
The people in the illegal trade have roped in technology including the internet to promote advertisements making sex service easily accessible. These advertisements openly state that they do the business in the safe atmosphere where police raid is out of the question.
A to a phone call to one of the call girls in Mysuru revealed that the sex business in Mysuru is package based on seasons and festivals. Special offers are available in the name of Vijayadashmi, Dasara where tourists get to choose girls from their various outlets.
"There is a demand for college students, and we have college girls between 19 and 20 years. The service will be provided at a hotel. There will be no police raid, and the business will be conducted in a safe atmosphere," said Vinutha, a call girl.

Both the pimps said that there might be an increase in customers during festivals and most of them are tourists may not carry cash. Hence card system and Paytm payment are made available, and services will be provided only after the payment.
AS Rao, Mysuru City Police Commissioner said, the Central Crime Branch officers will be asked become active and on vigil to ensure locking up of such outlets and checking any such activities before the commencement of the 10-day festival.
