The Air India Managing Director has agreed to start a daily flight service between Bengaluru and Hubli. Dharwad MP Prahlad Joshi in a statement issued on Tuesday said that he along with former chief minister Jagadish Shettar met Air India’s MD Ashwin Lohani at his office in New Delhi and appealed to him to introduce daily air services between Bengaluru and Hubli and Lohani agreed to the request, reports Kannada Prabha.

Lohani also agreed to Joshi’s request to introduce flight service between Hubli and Mumbai, he said. Lohani has advised officials concerned at Air India to work out a schedule and also technical details, said Joshi.
