IT Raids: DK Suresh not allowed to meet brother DK Shivakumar

  • The IT officials did not permit M P D K Suresh to meet his brother Minister D K Shivakumar.
  • They allowed D K Suresh to meet D K Shivaram only in the afternoon.
  • The IT officials were tracking D K S’s mobile calls, hence were able to track all his family, friends, associates.
  • IT officials also raided the house of owner of Sharma Travels, in which D K Shivakumar is said to be a partner.

 

D K Suresh not allowed meeting brother D K Shivakumar

The Income Tax officials did not permit M P DK Suresh to meet his brother Energy Minister DK Shivakumar when he arrived during the examination of documents at DK Shivakumar’s house. D K Suresh was sent back. He was however allowed to meet his brother later in the afternoon, reported Kannada Prabha.

DK Suresh arrived at his brother’s house in Sadashivanagar on Friday morning. He was not allowed inside the house. Though he pleaded he would meet his brother only for a few minutes, it was denied. He pleaded that he had to talk some issues about the Gujarat MLAs staying in the State and certain decisions had to be taken.  But the IT officials very strictly said he would be allowed to meet his brother only in the afternoon.  Hence Suresh had to return. He however met his brother DK Shivakumar later in the afternoon. It is said that the brothers spoke about the Gujarat MLAs stay and also about the IT raid. Suresh later spoke to the news persons and said all documents were being handed over to the officials.

The IT officials were tracking DK Shivakumar’s mobile calls and hence were able to track all his family, friends and associates.

Meanwhile, it is said that the IT officials also raided the house of owner of Sharma Travels, in which DK Shivakumar is said to have partnership. IT officials raided the house of Sunil Kumar at NR Colony and found over 10 lockers with gold jewels and business documents, it is said.
