DK Shivakumar’s close friends raided, IT officials seize a bag
- The IT officials raided the house of entrepreneurs Sachin and Chethan Narayan, close associates of DKS.
- It is rumored that important documents, cash Rs 5 lakh and 3 kg gold jewellery was found.
- On Friday raided another house belonging to DKS’s sister Padma at Mahalakshmipura.
- Global College and National Hill View Schools owned by D K Shivakumar were also raided.
FollowThe IT officials raided the house of entrepreneurs Sachin Narayan and Chethan Narayan, close associates of Energy Minister DK Shivakumar on the third day of the raid. They started at 6 AM and went on till late night. They had bank staff and auditors and inspected the documents. The IT officials were hunting for documents in both their houses and it is rumored that important documents, cash Rs 5 lakh and gold jewellery of 3kg was found. However, it could not be ascertained as the IT officials came out of Chethan Narayan’s house carrying a bag, reported Kannada Prabha.
A relative who had come from Chikkanayakanahalli to meet Sachin Narayan was not allowed to meet him. Only after intense scrutiny and interrogation he was allowed inside but was given only ten minutes and after that he was sent out, it is learnt.
The IT officials are not leaving any house of anybody connected with DK Shivakumar untouched. They raided the house of his sister Padma at Basaveshwara Nagar on Wednesday, again on Thursday and on Friday raided another house belonging to her at Mahalakshmipura. It is said gold jewelry in huge quantity was found but the value is not asserted. Friday being Varamahalakshmi festival many relatives had come to meet Padma and her family but they were all sent back without allowing them inside.
Meanwhile Global College and National Hill View Schools in Rajarajeshwarinagar owned by DK Shivakumar were also raided simultaneously.
