Energy Minister DK Shivakumar and his brother MP DK Suresh were summoned by the Income Tax officials to the Income Tax Department office on Queen’s Road and grilled for four hours, reports Kannada Prabha.

DK Shivakumar was issued summons for interrogation, under the IT Act 131 regarding the raid. He arrived at the IT office at 10.30 am and the IT officials questioned him or four hours. He emerged out of the IT office at around 2.45 pm and met the mediapersons. He said he had answered all questions posed by the IT officials. There will not be any further interrogation but he may be called only if necessary. The officials had asked him to submit certain documents and he has asked his auditors to submit them. It is not the first time that he has been summoned by the IT Department, earlier also whenever he was called he has met them, he said, according to a report in Kannada Prabha.
The IT officials also interrogated MLC S Ravi, 'guruji' Dwarakanath and others, separately. The IT officials led by DG BR Balakrishnan had prepared a set of questionnaire to each of them. They were asked about the source of their income and business transactions.
