An FIR was filed against Reddy alleging land grab, following a complaint by Adarsh Iyer of Janadhikara Sangharsha Parishat.

Adarsh Iyer had lodged a complaint with Madiwala police station accusing Reddy of grabbing 10 acres at Doddatoguru by creating fake documents and converting it into a layout and selling. Adarsh has even filed an application for issuing Stay Order to Prabhakara Reddy’s bail application.

On Saturday, he had arrived at City Civil Court along with 20 supporters for the hearing of application of anticipatory bail. At the Court canteen, he ran into Adarsh Iyer and his friend Prakash Babu. On seeing Adarsh, Prabhakara Reddy went into a rage and abused him, tried to assault and threatened him with dire consequences, said the police.
