Mangaluru's Prateek Nayak has topped the engineering rank in CET exams. Nayak is a student of Expert College in Mangaluru. He is followed by Sumanth Hegde, a student of VVS Sardar College, Basaveshwarnagar and Aniruddh S of RV PU College, Bengaluru.

The Common Entrance Test (CET) results were announced by Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddy declared the results on May 30 at 11 am. However, students can check their results by 1 pm at the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website. The KEA had conducted the exams on May 3 and 4, 2017. Students can find out about their results at the Karnataka Examination Authority's official website - kea.kar.nic.in.
